Gallagher Girls Overview:
Action, humour, romance and spying are all wrapped up in this amazing series. The Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter has 4 books currently but is awaiting another installment. Carter says in a recent interview that she hopes to have the books be in a series of 7. Gallagher Girls is about Cammie Morgan, a regular teenage girl. She loves shoes and shopping and thinks her Co-ops teacher, Joe Soleman is a MEGA-cutie! But she goes to an all girl private school - for spies! Her mother is the Head Mistresss and she has some interesting friends. This series follows the adventures of Cammie when she learns how to love, a spy's most dangerous mission. Going to an all girl school, Cammie doesn't normally venture outside and when she does, rarely strikes a conversation with an average boy (you know, the ones who aren't trying to kill you). So when she meets Josh, her seemingly perfect world turns upside down as she tries to handle a relationship. Throughout the series Cammie is hunted down by the Circle, a group trying to rid the world of good, as an A-plot but as a B-plot, she deals with matters of the heart. Ally Carter is an amazing author and Disney Hyperion books hardly fail.

For Gallagher Girls Fans
Are you a Gallagher Girl fan and have read at least the first and second book? If yes, continue on. If no, then you probably won't understand this part. I have a question for you crazy fans!!! Who do YOU like better? Josh or Zach? I honestly think Zach is hotter, bolder and overall better but my friend still thinks Josh was sweeter and more real.
Zach Goode~ Also a top-class spy and the best in his department

Josh Abrams~ Is a regular down-to-earth guy
~ Has a normal mom and dad and is open about his past ~ Only knows lies about Cammie and thinks she is a home-schooled sweet girl with a cat ~ Makes sweet jokes ~ Is kind, cute and happy ~ Goes to a normal school and his BFF is DeeDee a girl ~ Is open on his compliments and will tell Cammie how beautiful she is ~ Also has a cool guy reputation ~ Sweet talker and interesting ~ Calls her by her name (Cammie) ~ Also likes to get close to Cammie but in a subtle way (ie: asking her to go the dance with him) ~ Shy but does want to and kisses Cammie (her very first kiss) ~ Broke up in book one and Josh is now dating DeeDee ~ Gets a forklift to save her from a 'kidnapper' ~ Gets jealous of Zach (has a hurtful tone and expression when seeing Zach and Cammie almost kissing) ~ Enjoys school and has a GPA of 3.75 |
Excerpts from the 'Gallagher Girls series
"So I hear we get to go to town this weekend. Want to catch a movie or something?
--Z
P.S. That is, if Jimmy doesn't mind.
Translation: This weekend might be a good chance for us to see each other outside our school in a social environment, free of competetiton. I do not view other boys as threats, and I enjoy making them seem insignificant by calling them the wrong names. (Translation by Macey McHenry)"

"Oh, and Cammie," At the sounds of his voice, I spun around, expecting to hear him crack a joke or call me Gallagher Girl. The last thing I expected was to feel his arms sliding arounds me, to sense the whole world turning upside down as Zach dipped me in the middle of the foyer and pressed his lips to mine. Then he smiled that smile I'd come to know. "I always finish what I start."

"Even though Cammie is fluent in fourteen languages and capable of killing a man seven different ways with her bare hands, she has no idea what to do when she meets an ordinary boy who thinks she's an ordinary girl."

"I suppose a lot of teenage girls feel invisible sometimes, like they just disappear. Well, that's me—Cammie the Chameleon. But I'm luckier than most because, at my school, that's considered cool.
I go to a school for spies."

"Seriously", Macey snapped. "Go. Kiss. A baby"
"Can you believe her?" Preston asked, cocking his head towards Macey." Everytime she sees me, all she does is call me baby and talk about kissing."
Macey looked like she wanted to kill him. But I kinda wanted to laugh."

"I know in the spy movies it always looks really cool when the operative goes from a maid's uniform to a slinky, sexy, ballgown in the amount of time it takes an elevator to climb three floors. Well, I don't know how it is for TV spies, but I can tell you that even with Velcro, the art of the quick change is one that must take a lot of practice (not to mention better lighting than one is likely to find in a tunnel that was once part of the underground railroad)."

"Most little girls in England grow up wanting to marry
a prince. Bex grew up wanting to kick James Bond's butt and assume his double-0 ranking."

"Most people believe me when I lie. I've learned how to say the words just right. I have a trusting kind of face. But the boy in front of me was a trained operative, so Zach knew better. And besides, Zach new me."
